Where Many Seats Have Sat To Rest

Resting

brings blessing

sees the moment pass

with a seat to sit

and a heart

to ponder

gaze

look about

see what’s in

and what’s left out

see the hills

watch the birds

the sweetest time

comes with a sit

a warming drink

a time to think

a day to welcome

a day gone past

a supper drink

a contented heart.

So as this seat is new to me

I bring it home and joyfully

I rock like Uncle Wilfie

I watch the sky for homing pigeons

harmony surrounds me

may I share a sit with you Chung Fu.

Sweet Little Periwinkle

I found a little flower

with a lovely song to sing

and graciously it smiled to me

and there was everything

the light

the blue

the seeing you

the shining face

the simple shape

the turning wheel

the healing green

as beautiful as ever seen

for everything.

When will knowing

bring

the peace to each

who breathe life in.

When will welcoming

as Love shines in.

Yet

betwixt

between

the seldom seen

comes the possible

the probable

the opening

the advancing

the beginning

the living

the times which tell

the way to go,

the times which tell

who will

then know

what lies ahead,

what sits within

what calls your name

what invites you in

to all there was

you never knew

and all there is

beside you.

So open wide

and take the steps

the way you go

is lit with light,

the way you go

is within sight

and all you never knew

fills your heart

with what is true.
