Every Way The Wind Blows

The winds of spring

are blowing in

gale forces.

The rain is pelting down

against the concreted ground.

And all around 'is in the air'

life seems uncertain everywhere.

I need to, understand "where I am heading for"

and then I hear in my ears

"Be silent".  "Just be still"

You will never know unless you go,

"bird by bird" and "step by step"

what might happen next.

God knows that I will wait!

I have been woken up,

while some are sleeping soundly in their beds,

because I feel a presence here

'hovering over me', and being

reassuring, at this time

as we all move, farther down the line.

In these long pandemic ways,

we are learning "day by day".

Only The Love Remains

My true lover said to me: Give me a kiss to build a dream on.

I did.

I See You There

Just to see you
shining in the summer sun
with your cool feet
dancing on the soil
and, here you are
allowing me
to add your lush spearmint leaves
to liven up my parsley pesto
ready for lunch in a flash
just as soon as I am back
in my kitchen.

Hearts And Flowers

This posy brings peace
from the sun, the earth and rain
in our times when
life may never be the same
but as we look upon
these shy flowers and leaves
we witness empathy
for the souls
who quietly passed away,
for those remaining who pray today
for grace
to gently, kindly lead the way.

A Deeper Seeing

In contemplation
I pray for love and grace
for those known and unknown to me
and then I see.

You by the waters edge
forgotten words
your forgotten pledge
as you say
I will love you forever.

That was the start
and that was the end
as emptiness
was there.
Where were you?
I see through now.

'Peace to my mind.
Let all my thoughts be still.' *

Let Love come, and words go
let the tide ebb and rivers flow
let kindness bloom as flowers grow
let angels on this day
row that ancient boat away.

Blessings and peace.

What The Beautiful Crocus Told Me

We have arrived
 to greet you.
We have arrived
 to share
an expanding
 sense of community,
we hope spreads every-where.

If all the world
was changed to save
 good health,
we trust more come,
to see within, 'we are all one'.

Family upon family,
are like us.
A circle of soul companions
growing into
 the new possibilities.

We crocus are delicate.
We come through the soil,
 for a brief time,
before
 returning into the earth.

 Blessings and grace for well-being.
