Bringing the Honey Home

What these honey bees told me:

You see us choosing flowers
collecting honey for our hive,
but there are other reasons we come by.

These faded pink Yarrow blooms,
are our 'tonic-rooms',
where we find reprieve on a hot day.
Herbs are our favourite plants.
They 'lift us' for our flight home.

You know Yarrow 'speeds the compost'.
It also boosts the bee-safe-return-to-shelter.
As we get a buzz and hum along,
bringing the honey home.

Come The Blue Skies

As Golden Ash leaves fall,
they give the gift of compost
shelter for the worms
a resting place for birds
a sign of seasons changing
winds blowing
Past going
New growth coming.
Letting go,
going forward.
Acceptance.

When golden days shine,
then come the blue skies, and little birds rise.

Pink Galahs, Red Dirt Waterhole

Blue skies,
red dirt, Pink Galahs at the waterhole.
What Beauty.
Picture book colours.
Wonderful lighting and composition.
The red dirt, orange sands, pink birds, red, red feathers***

Was he waiting. So long. Days and Nights???
Months? Returning seasons?
